EXPLORE OUR CAMPUS

welcome to the new cobbs creek
With the opening of the Lincoln Financial Center and our Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab, the historic Cobbs Creek Golf Course is fast becoming a destination for practice, play, fine dining, and community engagement. And we’re just getting started.
The Cobbs Creek Campus is an industry-leading restoration project that includes a multitude of golf and community amenities built on a first-of-its-kind model for social impact funded by golf. Led by the Cobbs Creek Foundation, this state-of-the-art golf and educational campus provides opportunities for not only the community of Philadelphia, but golf aficionados around the world.
The Lincoln Financial Center has quickly become the heart of the Cobbs Creek Golf & Education Campus. This 42,000 square foot central structure, houses a 68-bay driving range powered by Toptracer technology (including 20 heated, reservable bays), plus a fully stocked the Pro Shop, and the Little Horse Tavern, our Charlie Sifford–inspired bar and restaurant.
In the backyard of the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab sits the Q School: our 9-hole, par 3 short course by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design. The Q School’s 750-yard, USGA-rated layout is designed to challenge seasoned players without losing playability accessible to beginners—making it a destination for golfers of all skill levels.
The new Cobbs Creek honors its historic roots while embracing modern advancements, transforming these glorious 350 acres into both a national golf destination and a local community campus.

SEE WHAT’S AHEAD
While 2025 brought our most significant milestone yet in the opening of the Lincoln Financial Center, we’re not done yet: next on the docket is the completion of the course crown jewel, the historic 18-hole Olde Course.
With architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner at the helm, the Olde Course restoration—in combination with the planned Hanse-design 9-hole Karakung Course and the 9-hole Q School Short Course—has the makings of a true championship layout. Between those 36 pristine new holes, 3 miles of Creek revitalization, and adding 25+ acres of wetlands, the Cobbs Creek project is no small feat.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION
The Cobbs Creek Foundation is reinventing these 350 acres in the heart of West Philadelphia as a dynamic education and recreation campus—and to establish a national model for golf as a lever for societal change.
Three years after breaking ground, Cobbs Creek is well on its way.
