About Cobbs Creek
Cobbs Creek Golf Course, established in 1916 in Philadelphia, is one of the city’s most historic and celebrated public courses. Cobbs Creek has long been a hub for golfers of all backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and community engagement in the sport. The current revitalization project aims to restore the course’s historical legacy while modernizing facilities, enhancing environmental sustainability, and creating new opportunities for youth education and community programs. The Cobbs Creek Golf Campus is dedicated to fostering a love of golf, preserving its rich heritage, and contributing to the vibrant fabric of the Philadelphia community.

Here’s what’s new and what’s next:
A Campus for Everyone: Cobbs Creek continues its tradition of inclusivity, creating a welcoming environment for golfers, families, and neighbors alike.
Lincoln Financial Center (Now Open): Practice and play like never before with a 68-bay driving range powered by Toptracer technology, plus a fully stocked pro shop and Little Horse Tavern, our Charlie Sifford–inspired bar and restaurant.
Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab (Now Open): Serving more than 4,500 local students annually, this innovative space offers free STEAM education and career development programs for grades 1–12, helping shape the next generation both on and off the course.
TGR Design Short Course – “Q School” (Coming Soon): Designed for accessibility and fun, this course will support youth programming while offering an engaging experience for golfers of all skill levels.
The Historic Olde Course (Reopening Fall 2027): Carefully restored to reflect its original design, this iconic course will once again offer a timeless playing experience rooted in tradition.
